Ronald Doornink ’79
Ron Doornink is executive chairman of Turtle Beach, Inc., the leading provider of headsets and other audio peripherals for gaming devices such as the Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, and PC. He serves as operating partner with Stripes Group, a private investment firm, and he is a member of the board of directors of the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization.
Mr. Doornink’s past associations include serving as senior advisor to the board of directors of Activision-Blizzard, publisher of interactive entertainment products, as director and president of Activision, Inc., as chairman and CEO of Activision Publishing, and as president of Hunt-Wesson Snack Food. Earlier, he held progressive positions in marketing and general management with the Procter & Gamble Company.
Mr. Doornink holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an undergraduate degree in economics from the Hogere Economische School of Arnhem in the Netherlands. He lives in Manhattan Beach, CA, is a dual citizen of the United States and the Netherlands, and is married with four children.
