Lorne Weil is chairman of Scientific Games Corporation, a leading supplier of technology-based products and services to the worldwide gaming industry. He was previously vice president—corporate development of General Instrument Corporation and a manager in the Boston office of the Boston Consulting Group.
Mr. Weil received his undergraduate degree in economics and math from the University of Toronto, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Columbia Business School, where for the last 10 years he has sponsored the annual Outrageous Business Plan Competition. He is also chairman of the advisory board of the Entrepreneurship Program at Columbia Business School.
Mr. Weil is married and has four children ranging in age from 29 to 3.
