BRL Research Assistants
Our lab research assistants are inquisitive and hard-working students from the Columbia University community. Please see below for brief biographies of our RA team.
Samantha Hing is an undergraduate student at Columbia College, Columbia University pursuing a degree in Statistics. She is interested in public health, public policy and global development, as well as all forms of research. She also wants to get into the fields of data analysis and data mining.

Brooke Norman is a junior currently studying economics in Columbia College. She is interested in the subjects of brand loyalty, decision making, and finances. In the future, she hopes to venture into the fields of marketing or business. She is very eager to learn more from the faculty she will be working with.

Jong Whan "Calvin" Choi is a graduate student at Teachers College pursuing a degree in organizational psychology. He received his BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Clark University in 2008. Calvin has previously worked as a regulatory affairs intern for The Clearing House Association and a relationship manager for the workplace HELPLINE. His primary interests are employment discrimination, the management of organizational change, and organizational justice. He hopes to pursue a career in either human capital consulting or employment law.

Claire Chamberlin is a senior pursuing a joint major in Economics-Statistics in Columbia College. She has studied Chinese for three years at Columbia and hopes to get a job in finance and eventually live in China. She is excited to be performing research at the Behavioral Research Lab, particularly because she is considering attending Columbia Business School.
