Deming Cup Winners Lecture

"Operational excellence and the turaround of Fiat and Chrysler"
Sergio Marchionne, Chairman and CEO of Chrysler Group LLC, CEO of Fiat S.p.A. and recipient of the Deming Cup 2011, came to Columbia on November 8, 2012 to deliver a lecture to students, faculty, and friends of the Deming Center. Mr. Marchionne talked about the importance of operational excellence in the turaround of Fiat and Chrysler.

Samuel Palmisano, Chairman, President and CEO of IBM, and recipient of the Deming Cup Award 2010, came to Columbia Business School on November 2, 2011 to deliver the final IBM's Centennial Lecture to students, faculty, and friends of the Deming Center. Glenn Hubbard, Dean, Columbia Business School, enthusiastically introduced Sam to the audience.
