Young Alumni in Retail Network
The Columbia Business School Young Alumni in Retail Network (YARN) brings together the Business School’s graduates who work in retail, and helps them to reconnect with one another, enhance their ties to the Business School, and participate in scholarly discussions concerning their industry.
This initiative aimsto provide graduates with several networking opportunities and ongoing educational experiences throughout the year.

Deming Forum in Retail (Summer 2013)
Launched with guidance from Richard Jaffe '92 and David Schick, managing directors of the Stifel Nicolaus Retail Team, the Deming Forum is an annual conference that addresses key issues in the Retail Industry. Some of the topics discussed in past events include: "Digital Age Marketing for Retailers", "Measuring the Effect of Customer Service Levels on Customer Purchases", “Union Relations with Large Retailers”, “Consumer Economics”, “Digital Branding at the Very High End”, “Trends in Retail”, and “Social Media Strategies for Consumer Brands”.
The date of this event for 2013 will be determined shortly.
