Research Computing

The Program for Financial Studies currently supports three initiatives in research computing:

  1. FiEc Server: A server dedicated to the use of affiliated faculty and research support staff
  2. TAQ Server: A large-capacity storage system designed to host all TAQ data (transactions-level data of NYSE stocks) and large datasets of affiliated faculty
  3. Research Wiki: A centralized depository of relevant information for research computing methods, dataset access, sample code in Matlab, SAS, STATA, and other programming know-how, as well as shortcut methods for accessing various databases
