John Comparetto (JComparetto91@gsb.columbia.edu)
John Comparetto writes: "I am on my way to Afghanistan (as a Department of the Army Civilian) to head up a Human Terrain Team attached to one of the US brigades in theater. I will be there for nine months. Human Terrain Teams attempt to bridge any gaps in cultural understanding between US leaders and their Afghan counterparts."
Todd Randolph (BRandolph91@gsb.columbia.edu)
Todd Randolph writes: “Hola my NYC compadres! So as some of you know or are learning now, the organization I work for, National Brain Tumor Society, is stepping up its presence in New York City. I am dropping you a line because we need help to pass along the information below to anyone interested, especially if they have been affected by brain tumors.
We are adding a New York Walk to our roster this summer! It will happen on Governor's Island on June 18. These walks are amazing and inspiring events for the brain tumor community. Check out the website at www.braintumorwalk.org/newyork. First and foremost we would love to add some more great people to the Walk planning committee. Secondly we are looking for people to join the walk either as day-of volunteers, or people to set up or join teams.
It would be great if you could pass this along to anyone you think might be interested or who know others who might be. You can also connect with me or email NYWalk@braintumor.org if you have questions. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or help. Looking forward to seeing more of you soon!”
Bradley Golden
Bradley Golden writes: “20 years on, I’m very excited to return to campus and NYC to reconnect with the many good people Karen and I befriended while at CBS. Our kids and jobs keep us way too busy, so a chance to spend a weekend with old friends is one we won't pass up. See you April 15 and don't forget to pay your taxes beforehand.”
