In a new Master Class at the School, NYC: Innovative and Entrepreneurial Solutions to the City’s Complex Challenges, six student teams collaborated with mentors from the private sector to develop recommendations addressing New York City problems. At the end of the fall 2011 semester, each student team presented their solutions to representatives from the New York City Mayor’s Office.
Students from this team looked at how the city can improve access to capital for minority and woman-owned businesses.
