At the BRITE '12 conference, Jeff Jarvis (author of "Public Parts") discusses the importance of trust and the value of privacy as a continuum which is crucially important to the future of the Internet. He notes the unintended consequences of Internet regulations that may be created through a fear that we are losing our privacy -- a fear inspired in part by the lack of transparency of marketers and the media.
The BRITE conference on brands, innovation and technology is hosted by the Center on Global Brand Leadership at Columbia Business School.
